Launching her campaign the day after Rhode Island’s legacy companies announced their departure is the worst kind of political opportunism. An honest leader would admit this isn’t about one person–it’s about a system she profited from and defended.” “She launched her career as a corporate raider at Goldman Sachs, learning how to dismantle companies for profit. Now, she audaciously runs as an ‘outsider’–a stunning fiction for someone who sits on corporate boards and trades on her family name. As a director of the EDC, she privately pushed to pour more taxpayer dollars into the catastrophic 38 Studios failure.” “Her hypocrisy is matched by her record of failure.
